I’m hugely excited to announce that I’m now up and running with my own social media consultancy – Chapter.
It’s a move I’ve considered for many years, but always stopped myself – largely because of the excuse that I needed to find the ‘perfect time’.
Turns out that doesn’t exist, but the right time does – it’s now… and I’m going all in!
Doing something like this is obviously scary, and I’m sure there will be challenges, but I’m looking forward to putting every minute of my 15+ years experience into helping teams and businesses get results that matter from social media.
As well as, of course, sharing my knowledge, testing my capabilities, and experiencing things way out of my comfort zone (I guess it’s time to get networking!)
In the meantime, I’d like to share a number of thank yous.
There are so many and I can’t list them all, but I will start with all the support from friends and family since I told them about my new venture. Their messages have been phenomenal – and reassuring.
Thank you to Trevor, Martin, and the Tank crew for their understanding and encouragement once I told them my decision to leave the business (for a second time!). It remains an incredible agency.
Shout out to Mr Shaw himself, Karl, for bringing the visuals of the Chapter brand to life. Legend as always.
To Ash Stanley for my new headshots and for putting up with my Taylor Swift-level of wardrobe changes during the shoot.
I was once told that if I ever did my own thing to start with a good accountant. Thank you to Joe Fitzpatrick at Bourne & Co for all your advice. I know I can count on you when I have a query – and we can praise/moan about the Rams at the same time!
A final thank you to my wife for her all love and support.
Thanks for reading.
Time to find some clients!
