LINKEDIN TRAINING FOR SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES
Practical LinkedIn advice and training for students starting apprenticeships or university
With hundreds of thousands of young people leaving school for work or university every year, they’re about to embark on a very different chapter in their lives.
And while they may be super comfortable using TikTok, Snapchat or Instagram, one channel is likely to be very alien to them – LinkedIn.
To change that, I work with heads of sixth form, careers teams, apprenticeship leads (and more) to introduce LinkedIn to your students for the very first time.

MY EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

WHY TRUST ME?
I’m a social media strategist with 15+ years of marketing experience, and remain passionate about mentoring and career development – particularly in young people.
During my career, I’ve developed strategies for internationally renowned schools, SaaS businesses, housebuilders, events venues and more.
And I led the social media and digital marketing team for the UK's largest discount service for three years, delivering record results.
I also devised and managed the social media strategy for the launch of SameYou – the brain injury recovery charity founded by Game of Thrones star, Emilia Clarke. (No dragons were harmed!)
I now use all of this knowledge to help schools and colleges – and their students – approach social media more confidently and effectively.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does it cost?
My aim is for this to be as affordable as possible, but I quote on an individual basis.
I do like to have a quick chat beforehand to understand how many sessions you want, and whether these will be spread out over different days or all in one go, before giving you a quotation.
How long is each training session?
I allow for up to 75 minutes per session. I don’t present for all of this time as I believe it’s important to allow for audience participation and answer any questions or queries students may have about LinkedIn – and clear up any misconceptions too.
Can staff join?
While this session is tailored to students and school leavers, your marketing team and other members of staff may also find it interesting. I guarantee they’ll learn at least one new fact about LinkedIn! However, if you want to discuss a more bespoke session for your staff I'd be delighted to help.
